Things are tough and bloody and dark and you’re wounded, maybe, almost dead, probably, and you’re watching people descend into madness or worse, an inhuman insidiousness that you meet with wide-eyed terror.

Late Night Reads: H.P. Lovecraft

If you’ve never read H.P. Lovecraft and you’re a fan of genre fiction, you 81629xwvipl._ac_us218_.should definitely give it a try. Lovecraft is the founding father of modern horror like Stephen King and Dean Koontz and is a master at turning otherworldy specters and nightmares into reality. The complete works include supernatural horror, mystery, and suspense making it a nice addition to your hoard. In my opinion, the man was much more important than he is sometimes give credit for.
